• to sit tight — to wait patiently to take an action (сидеть молча, не высовываться). Isn`t is something all the students do on seminars?)
• burn with something — if you burn with an emotion, you feel that emotion very strongly
• sell for something — to persuade someone that an idea or plan is good
• to be immersed in something — to be or become completely involved in something, so that you do not notice anything else (углубиться во что-либо, быть поглощенным чем-либо)
