Let’s imagine I can choose 6 artists from different sphere and have dinner with them.
The first on my list is Ari Aster, an incredibly talented young director who mastered horror genre. His movies are masterpieces; he always challenges audience’s expectations with his fresh look. I would like to get to know him better as a person, to learn about his lifestyle and his tastes. I want to know what makes him unsurpassed at such young age.
Number two is Florence Welsh, my favorite singer since I was a teenage girl. I have strong belief that we are soulmates; it seems to me that we used to be sisters in a previous life. I already know a lot about her, so I would like to spend time with her as my best friend, because I’m sure we’ve known each other for million years.
The third is my favorite composer Pyotr Ilyich Tchaickovsky. He is the one I would like to talk about love and beauty. His heart was filled with it, and he reached perfection in talking about it to millions of people through music. I would like to tell him that he is still one of the most popular musicians in the world, that his music is timeless and will outlive everyone and everything.
The next one is Marina Abramovic, another genius from Serbia. In fact I don’t know what we would talk about, but she is definitely on my list. I think I would just hug her and cry, and she would understand everything I wanted to say.
Then goes David Bowie. I think he is an alien from a faraway galaxy that was send to Earth as one of the greatest gifts for the humankind.
The last but not the least is Stephen Hawking. Yes, I consider him one of the greatest artists of science. I’ve read all his books and I think I know everything about him as a person. He mastered the art of being alive. I would like to genuinely thank him for his contribution to the world of science and for showing people that life is a form of art itself.
